How a Single Review Works on Teemzo

This is the shortest path in Teemzo: one person, $49, no subscription.

It is the actual New Review form in the live product, walked up to the pay button and stopped there. Nobody on your team gets an email until you pay.

What you get, in one sentence

You name the person being reviewed, their manager, and up to four optional peers, pay $49, and Teemzo emails those people immediately.

Before you make an account

You can read a finished example without signing up: a full sample review. That page is labeled as an unedited first draft. The manager still edits and approves before anything is shared with the employee.

There is no guest mode for the form itself. To set up a real review, you create an account.

Step 1: Create an account

Go to teemzo.com/sign-up. Continue with Google, or use an email and password.

Email signup sends a 6-digit verification code to that inbox. After you enter it, you land on a short welcome screen.

Step 2: Name the workspace

Welcome to Teemzo asks for a Company or team name. Continue stays off until that field has text. Anyone you later invite to a review is added to this workspace automatically.

The Reviews dashboard starts empty: No reviews yet. Two buttons sit at the top:

• New Review — $49 (this post)
• Team Reviews (the whole-team wizard)

You can also hit Start your first review in the empty state. That is the same single-review form.

Step 3: Fill out one review

The page is New Review. Helper text: "Fill out the details below. You'll be charged $49 after confirming."

Three blocks:

Person being reviewed

• Full name
• Email

Placeholders look like Jane Smith / jane@company.com.

Manager

• Full name
• Email

Placeholders look like Bob Jones / bob@company.com.

Peer reviewers (optional, up to 4)

Starts empty. + Add peer adds a name and email row. Each row has Remove. You can start a review with zero peers, but the rest of Teemzo's copy treats peer input as the useful part of the $49, so most people will add two to four.

Name and email are required on the rows you leave in the form. An empty required field blocks pay with a normal browser "Please fill out this field."

Step 4: Read the warning, then pay

As soon as the form has people in it, a yellow box appears:

Emails will be sent immediately after payment:

• the reviewee — self-assessment invite
• the manager — notified as manager
• each peer — peer feedback request

Plus: "Make sure these people are expecting this review before proceeding."

The button is Pay $49 & Start Review. That is the stop line for this walkthrough. We did not click it, so we did not open Stripe and we did not send any mail.

What happens at pay (from the copy on that screen)

The important expectation is timing. Invites go out when payment succeeds, not when you later hit "send." Tell the person, their manager, and any peers before you pay.

After that, the manager gets the inputs, adds notes, and generates a written review covering strengths, growth areas, and a summary. They edit it in their own voice and approve it before the employee sees it. Peers never go on the record with the reviewee. The sample review is what that first draft looks like.

Pricing is $49 per person reviewed, no subscription. Your first review is refundable for 30 days, even after you have used it.

When to use this instead of Team Reviews

Use New Review when you have one conversation to run this week.
