Teemzo vs Lattice

Lattice is built for companies with an HR team running performance management all year — goals, check-ins, engagement surveys, and analytics in one platform.

Teemzo is built for a founder with ten people who needs to run real reviews once or twice a year and does not want a subscription in between.

When Lattice is the right call

We are not going to pretend Teemzo wins every comparison. Lattice is a good product aimed at a different company. Buy it if:

  • You have an HR or people-ops team to own the process.
  • You want continuous performance management — goals, OKRs, and check-ins running all year, not a review once or twice a year.
  • You need engagement surveys, analytics dashboards, and compensation planning in one system.
  • You are large enough that per-seat pricing buys capability you will actually use every month.

If none of those describe you, you are probably paying for an HR platform to do something you do twice a year.

What Teemzo actually does

You add the person being reviewed, their manager, and up to four peers. Everyone fills out a short private survey. The manager gets the responses, adds their own notes, and Teemzo drafts a written review from all of it. The manager edits it, approves it, and shares it. Peer feedback stays visible to the manager only — the reviewee gets the manager's final written review, not raw peer responses.

It takes about two minutes to set up and costs $49 per person reviewed. There is no seat count, no contract, and nothing to cancel.

Your first review is refundable for 30 days — even after you've used it. If it is not better than what you are doing now, you have lost nothing.
